Climate change is a contentious topic within Christianity. At one end, conservative Christians see the issue of climate change as a “fairy tale”. At the other, less conservative and liberal Christians seek to protect the Earth from zealous climate change deniers. We, as Christians, hold a diverse range of attitudes towards the issues which affect our world today. It would be impossible to gather all Christians on one side of the climate change debate. The climate events you need to know about this Autumn

In June of this year, Britain became the first country to declare a climate emergency. Since then, nature seems yet again to have taken a back-bench against other issues such as Brexit. It is very easy to lose hope in the face of a government which isn’t prioritising such an enormous crisis. I’ve put together a series of events to keep your eye on this Autumn which you can get involved with — whether in person or remotely — to maintain pressure on the government to act now.
